About the Online Survey

A MESSAGE FROM THE NATIONAL RESEARCH STUDY DIRECTOR
Over the past year, we’ve been listening to students from one end of the country to the other. Among other things, we’ve heard students speak about themselves, their families and their heritage from a wonderful variety of viewpoints. From these conversations, we’ve discovered that there is a fascinating spectrum of young people, from all parts of the country and all kinds of backgrounds — who all identify with their Greek heritage in one way or another. From Greek-Greek to Greek-American, Greek Irish, Greek-Iranian and even Greek-Chinese— they all say they’ve “got Greek.”
Your Voice Matters!
If you feel that you’ve “got Greek” then your voice belongs in this conversation. That’s why we’re inviting you to take the Got Greek? survey. The online questionnaire we’ve developed is easy to take, and is right at your fingertips. This is a chance for you to speak out about how you feel about your own Greek heritage — and what role it has played in your life at home, and how it affects your social life, your relationships and your college experience. Sign up here to take the online survey — and become part of the conversation. We look forward to hearing what you have to say.

The Got Greek? National Student Survey is the first national online study designed exclusively for American university students of Greek ancestry —and where students like you are sharing their views and opinions about their background and how it relates to everything from food, music, parents and professions, to family, friends and dating.
This national study is meant for students with a Hellenic background of any kind, and is open to every student of Greek heritage who is studying at a college or university in the United States. Whether you are 1/16th or 100% Greek, you are eligible to participate in this study. We want to hear how you feel about being (even a little bit) Greek.
This online survey is the newest part of the Next Generation National Research Study — an in-depth, national study of Greek American / Greek / Hellenic college students, launched in 2008 by the Next Generation Initiative, an independent non-profit educational foundation, with significant support from the Zapis Charitable Foundation and others.
Got Greek? Tell us about it!

As a registered participant, you will also have full access to the study’s ongoing poll and survey results — and will have opportunity to suggest your own questions, voice your opinions about the results, and add your own history to the study’s online archives.
Click here to see the growing network of Hellenic and Greek American student groups throughout the country — including members of student groups on more than 45 college campuses across the country — who are official participants in the study. Please remember that even if you belong to one of these groups, you still need to sign up here to participate in the study.
