The Next Generation Initiative

The Next Generation Initiative is an independent, non-profit educational foundation committed to helping today’s students become tomorrow’s leaders by helping the young men and women of the next generation gain the skills and experience their careers will demand — and the global perspective that future leadership will require — through internships which match young leaders and promising scholars with internship opportunities and chances to learn from leaders in their fields of interest; world-class leadership forums like our Athens Fellowship and Master Class programs which bring next generation students together with world-class leaders; made possible by our Next Generation network of executives and innovators in industries and professions around the world, who are committed to opening up new opportunities for the next generation, through their support and participation in our programs.

The Next Generation Initiative is also the sponsor of the “Got Greek?” Next Generation National Student Survey and the Next Generation National Research Study — the first nationwide, in-depth research study focused exclusively on college students of Greek heritage, using interviews, polls, surveys and student forums to help the next generation tell its own story.

The Got Greek? National Student Survey is the first national online survey of American university students of Greek ancestry where you can share your views and opinions about your background and how it relates to everything from food and music, to family, friends and dating. You can sign up here to take the Got Greek? online student survey. Participation in the Next Generation Initiative’s national student survey is open to every student of Greek heritage who is a student at a college or university in the United States. Whether you are 1/16th or 100% Greek, this study is about you. So, whether you’re first-, second-, third-, fourth- or even fifth-generation — or if your last name is more like Fey than Stephanopoulos — as long as you are an undergraduate or graduate student of Hellenic heritage studying at a university in the United States — we want to hear how you feel about being (even a little bit) Greek.
